Thanks! I don't know about "adorable" - she looks like a cross between Chairman Mao and a little furry mole (long claws and all...) - but we figure that'll pass. It takes a while for the head to get unsquished and stuff like that; birth is a fairly rough process on all involved. We'll find out what she really looks like in a few days or even weeks. Until then, she's a tiny little thing that's all needs, wrinkles, loud noises, and infinite potential - and we love her.

Actually, we planned it that way - we wanted a natural birth, and we wanted it to happen aboard Ulysses. We missed the second part with Michael, since we were on the road and he came a month earlier than predicted (although, as it turned out, he wasn't an early baby); Alexandra got both.
It's been a very large experience both times.
